Demonstration Test of a Taylor Fluid Flow

An experiment to verify whether uniform mixing occurs through the generation of a Taylor fluid was performed as shown in the following figure. When water was injected, blue solvents were injected and then water was injected again, rings were created only when the blue solvents were injected and the remaining parts are filled with water only, which shows that there occurred a Taylor fluid flow.

The following graphs are a result of concentration analysis for the above experimental result using an analysis apparatus. A laminar flow and a turbulent flow showed an overall uniform concentration, but a Taylor flow showed the highest concentration at the time of injection, which confirmed the singular point of a Taylor flow.
